1. Who we are
QuickSolve LLC operates Rollcall. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in the Rollcall app and related support services. Contact us at support@quicksolvellc.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, username, phone number, account identifier, authentication records, and information supplied by an enabled sign-in provider.
- Photos and roll information: front- and back-camera images, captions, capture timestamps, saved place labels, roll and event identifiers, and captured, missed, or removed-frame status.
- Social information: invitations, accepted friendships, blocks, reports, and related timestamps.
- Notification information: device push tokens, installation identifiers, timezone, preferences, and event-delivery records.
- Technical information: app and operating-system versions, device information, network request information including IP addresses, authentication and error records, and app or notification interaction information processed by our services and integrated SDKs.
- Support information: your messages and any screenshots or other attachments you choose to send. Please omit unrelated sensitive information.
Information comes from you, your device, your sign-in provider, and other users when they invite, connect with, block, or report an account.
3. Camera, location, and motion
Camera permission lets you capture front- and back-camera photos. Rollcall does not take a photo merely because a notification arrives.
Location is optional. With permission, the app samples your location while the camera is active and sends it to Apple’s reverse-geocoding service to obtain a city or area label. Rollcall saves the label with the frame rather than saving raw coordinates in its frame records. Turning location permission off stops new location collection; it does not remove previously saved labels.
Phone motion drives visual effects such as moving rolls and pupils. These sensor readings are used on your device for those effects, not uploaded as a movement history.
4. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, save and restore your photos, organize rolls, enforce capture windows, send Rollcall notifications, connect friends, respond to support requests, investigate reports, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, and meet legal obligations. Missed moments are represented by event records; their black frames are generated in the app.
Phone-number sign-in sends your phone number to Google. Google also processes phone numbers for spam and abuse prevention across its services. Verification messages are for authentication, not a subscription to marketing texts.
The app includes Firebase Analytics components. Google’s SDKs may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, and app or notification interactions. This is separate from your photo files.
5. What other people can see
Accepting a friend gives them access to all your past and future Rollcalls. Pending invitations do not grant access to photos. Your username and invitation information are used to identify you to people you connect with. The current friend-photo interface does not provide your captions or saved location labels.
Removing or blocking a friend stops subsequent authorized photo access through the service. Friend photos have no in-app download or export action. This cannot prevent screenshots, external copying, or viewing something already displayed on another device.
Photos can reveal personal information through their content even when a place label is not shared. Consider the people, addresses, documents, and surroundings visible in a photo before capturing it.
6. Service providers and other disclosures
We use Google Firebase Authentication for sign-in, Firestore for account and roll metadata, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service for alerts, and Cloudflare Workers and private R2 storage for authenticated photo services and storage. Apple services resolve optional place labels. These providers process information needed to deliver and protect their services.
We may disclose relevant information to authorized service providers, in response to a valid legal requirement, to investigate fraud or safety concerns, or to protect users’ rights. If our business is reorganized or acquired, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
Copyright reports and counter-notifications
When you submit a copyright notice or counter-notification, we collect the contact details, signature, statements, content identifiers, and supporting material you provide. We use these to assess and respond to the report, contact the parties, address repeat infringement, and comply with legal obligations.
Our designated agent and authorized personnel or legal advisers may review this information. We may send the uploader a copy of a copyright notice, including the sender’s contact details, and forward a valid counter-notification, including its contact details, to the original claimant. We may also disclose relevant records when legally required. These reports are not published as part of your profile. Submit only information necessary to handle the claim; do not send passwords or verification codes.
We may retain copyright correspondence and related records after content or an account is removed when needed to resolve disputes, enforce our repeat-infringer policy, or meet legal obligations. Retention is limited to those purposes. See our copyright policy and designated agent contact details for how to submit a notice.
Our infrastructure providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws differ from yours. Contact us for information about the processing relevant to your account. External websites, app stores, and sign-in providers have their own privacy notices.
7. Storage and removal
Photos and metadata are stored remotely so you can access your account across sessions. The app also keeps local copies and caches. Signing out or deleting the app does not delete your account or its server-side information.
Removing an uploaded photo makes its Rollcall slot black and removes friend access to that photo. The slot remains so paired rolls stay aligned. Removing a photo from view does not immediately erase every original, historical revision, or backup.
Request account deletion from your profile in the app. After identity verification and confirmation, access is revoked and an automated server job removes your account, photos including archive revisions, metadata, social connections, and notification records. Cleanup retries interruptions. If you cannot use the app, follow our account deletion request instructions. We verify ownership before acting on support requests.
A minimal deletion record containing an account identifier, request time, and cleanup status remains to prevent restoration and track completion. Security, legal, and copyright records may be retained where needed for those purposes. Retention depends on the information’s purpose, whether the account is active, recovery needs, security investigations, and legal obligations. We do not promise immediate removal from every backup or a fixed deletion interval that the current service cannot meet.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Change camera, location, and notification permissions in iPhone Settings. Turning off alerts does not pause scheduled Rollcalls or extend their capture windows. You can remove or block friends and remove your uploaded photos from view.
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; or complain to a privacy regulator. Some rights have exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send requests to support@quicksolvellc.com with your username and the request. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. Never send a password or verification code. If you disagree with our response, reply requesting a review. We handle applicable requests within legally required timeframes and do not penalize you for exercising privacy rights.
9. Age requirements
Rollcall is for people age 13 or older, or the higher minimum age required where they live. Users under 18 or the age of legal adulthood where they live must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Permission does not make the service available to children below its minimum age.
We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child below the minimum age has provided information, contact support so we can investigate and address it. Do not include additional photos or sensitive details about a child unless needed to handle the request.
10. Security
We use authenticated access checks and private photo storage to limit access. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep verification codes private and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
11. This website
This website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which processes network request information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. The website has no account-registration form, advertising scripts, or photo-upload feature. Email links open your email app; messages you send are handled as support correspondence. Linked third-party sites operate independently.
12. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The updated version will be available here, and we will provide additional notice or request consent when required by applicable law.
