A few quick answers.
How do I sign in?
Enter your phone number with the correct country code, then enter the verification code sent by SMS. If a code does not arrive, check the number and try again later. Repeated requests can trigger temporary rate limits. Never share your verification code with support.
When do Rollcalls happen?
The server schedules 24 events per week, between 8 am and 11 pm in your timezone. People in the same timezone cohort share the event schedule. Different timezone cohorts can receive events at different times.
How long do I have to capture?
Two minutes from the event opening. The shutter must be pressed within that window; an upload can finish afterward. Notifications may arrive late because of device settings or network conditions, so a push notification is not a guaranteed full two-minute window.
Why is a frame black?
That event was missed, or its photo was removed. The slot stays in place so your roll and a friend’s roll line up. A black frame is not a missing image file that you need to download.
What happens when I add a friend?
Once the invitation is accepted, you can see each other’s past and future Rollcalls. Pending invitations grant no photo access. Remove or block someone to stop their future access. There is no in-app save or export action for friends’ photos.
Why are my photos still uploading?
Photos need a connection to finish backing up. Keep the app open with a reliable connection and check the backup status before signing out or removing the app. Logging back into the same account restores successfully uploaded photos; an unfinished upload is not a completed backup.
Does removing a photo delete everything?
No. Removing an uploaded Rollcall photo makes that slot black and stops friend access to the photo. Original or backup files may still be retained. To remove your whole account and its photo library, use Delete account in your profile. See account deletion for details or help if you cannot sign in.
Can I turn off location or notifications?
Yes. Change permissions in iPhone Settings. Location is optional and is used for a city or area label on your frames. Disabling notifications does not pause scheduled Rollcalls or extend capture windows.
